Dwight brings broad perspective and capability to the firm, providing analysis and counsel to communications providers nationwide in a variety of federal and state regulatory, litigation, compliance and contract matters. These include matters in court and before State Commissions, the FCC, and other regulatory agencies.

Dwight’s experience includes a variety of telecom matters, including facility siting and permitting, federal preemption under Sections 224 and 253 of the federal Communications Act, State and federal pole attachment disputes, litigation, transactional proceedings, FCC Rapid Broadband Assessment Team proceedings, strategic planning, BEAD, and network deployment.

Dwight also serves as President of a three-County Board of Cooperative Educational Services in New York and has served as an elected School Board Trustee since 2016.  For over a decade he has contributed to policy development, budget oversight, and initiatives to improve student outcomes for thousands of families.  In these roles, Dwight gained firsthand experience navigating complex governance challenges, collaborating amongst diverse stakeholders, and making decisions that directly affect public resources and future generations—insights he now applies to representing clients in related education, corporate, and government matters.  He was the 2021 recipient of the ECASB Laura M. Burns Advocacy for Children Award, which honors a school board member who has provided outstanding service in advocacy for children, demonstrating leadership in the district and community with actions that clearly benefit children and show a willingness to stand up for principles that “put kids first.”

Dwight is a 2023 graduate of Albany Law School and received his undergraduate degree from the University at Buffalo. Dwight comes to Klein Law Group with valuable experience in litigation, small business counselling, and charter schools.

Dwight is admitted to practice in New York State and is an active member of the Federal Communications Bar Association.
