Susan advises wireless, wireline and broadband clients on a wide array of regulatory and policy issues, including spectrum acquisition, network neutrality, Title II reclassification of broadband services, privacy, customer proprietary network information, interconnection, intercarrier compensation, slamming, universal service, truth-in-billing, E-911, pole attachments, special access, hearing aid compatibility, CALEA and cyber security. Susan regularly advocates for clients in FCC rulemakings and regulatory enforcement proceedings.
Susan has represented communications companies in many complex transactional matters, such as mergers, acquisitions, financing arrangements and secondary market transactions. As an associate attorney at Cahill, Gordon & Reindel, LLP, Susan also represented investment banks as underwriters and commercial banks as arrangers in communications-focused transactions.
Susan received her Juris Doctor degree from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, where she earned a certificate in Communications Law Studies, and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland.
Susan is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia. She is an active member of the Federal Communications Bar Association (FCBA).
